Equality ID

Equality is the most important ethical category of the present. The success of every state today is determined by the extent to which the principles of fair and equal access of all citizens to personal and economic development, education, medicine and justice are upheld by laws and practice.

A separate panel of the Ukrainian ID Forum has traditionally been dedicated to the fight for equality. Expert discussions will be held this year in light of the fact that equality is one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. A prosperous future is impossible without equality, which is why it is the task of society to overcome the archaic ideas that draw us to poverty, exploitation, and injustice as quickly as possible.

The participation of young activists is of particular importance in this panel because for young people across the globe, the issue of equality is already one of the key issues in their formation and outlook. Young people demand equality – and the whole society must hear that demand!
