Top-manager, agricultural investor and philanthropist, Thomas Brunner came to Ukraine from
Austria in 2004 as a marketing director for Henkel. In 2006, his family bought an abandoned
agricultural complex in Cherkasy region. Today this is an ultra-modern meat facility run
accordingly to own production method without use of antibiotics.
Thomas Brunner is convinced, that cultural development and investment into human capital can
positively change small businesses, as well as the whole cities. Notably as a “Friend of Dnipro
Philharmonic Hall”, he believes that Dnipro could undergo a transformation from industrial giant to
a cultural capital, as Austrian city Linz underwent over the last 30 years.
