Community ID
We are witnessing the principles of human coexistence changing rapidly. The notions of how cities and states have functioned over the past few millennia are undergoing a phase of intense evolution. And in this time of global change, the potential of local communities struggling for comfortable living conditions, opportunities for economic growth and successful adaptation to the changing world is greatly enhanced.
The Ukrainian ID Panel, dedicated to community development, demonstrates how Ukrainians and residents of other countries around the world are changing the very fabric of their daily lives, preserving their identity and increasing the resources available.
One of the key themes of the panel will be the responsibility of society for its children – in particular, those who lack social protection and care.
Within five years, in accordance with UN recommendations, boarding schools should disappear, which, according to the Organization’s global studies, is often the source of violence against children and damages their development in the long term. That is why Ukrainian state agencies and civil society must now develop a new model of care and education for those who will lead our country into the future.
